SKYCRON to produce new segments for Regina Crime Stoppers on CTV, big screen

The Crime Stoppers re-enactments you remember are coming back to CTV – this time, with more grit and drama than you’ve ever seen before. And SKYCRON will be bringing them to a TV screen and movie theatre near you. The announcement comes at a great time for Crime Stoppers Regina, who announced its highest payout in recent history. The Regina Crime Stoppers website reports:

“Over $12,000 in rewards were paid out to tipsters in 2025, almost double the amount claimed last year ($6,085).  A total of 917 anonymous tips were received in 2025, thanks to community members doing their part to keep our city safe and hold offenders accountable. This is an increase from 832 tips in 2024.

“Tips and rewards were not the only category that increased in 2025. The year also saw a significant increase in recovered property, arrests, charges laid and cases cleared as a result of the tips that came in.”
The new segments, which will be cinematic and produced with high production values, both harken back to the days of the original re-enactments while providing a new experience.

2025 Statistical Highlights by Crime Type:

·         Drug-Related Tips: 210

·         Wanted Person/Warrants: 119

·         Theft: 73

·         Fraud: 51

·         Other: 149
